Innerjoy Hospice Care, Inc. offers programs for the patient and family members that will hopefully conciliate the possibility of losing a loved one. Our focus is in making each day count. With Hospice, each day and each moment matters so we hope to bring the highest comfort we can during these trying times.
About Hospice and What You Can Expect
Coverage of hospice care depends upon a physician’s certification that an individual’s life expectancy is six months or fewer if the illness runs its normal course.
Hospice Care may be considered if any of the following conditions apply:
- You choose to forego any further testing or hospitalizations and will allow the dying process to happen naturally.
- Activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing and walking are too difficult.
- Symptoms are increasingly uncomfortable or difficult to manage.
- Pain is not well controlled.
